Suddenly, but peacefully at the Cumberland Infirmary on Thursday 30th January 2025, on the day of her husbands (now cancelled) funeral, Marlene aged 72 years. Beloved wife of the late Alan, dearly loved and loving mam of Paul, Lynette and David, mother-in-law of Donna and Nicola, a cherished nana of Jordan, Lauren, Ben, Megan, Sam, Damian and Leo, and dearly loved sister of Maurice, Ian, Ann, Peter and the late Margaret. Marlene will be dearly missed by all her family and friends. A Service of Love and Celebration for Marlene will be held at Carlisle Crematorium on Thursday 13th February at 3:00pm. Family flowers only, donations in memory of Marlene will be in aid of the Stroke Association. All enquiries to Jill Glencross Independent Funeral Directors. Tel: 01228 317373
